Please join us on Thursday evenings in January for a book study to open the New Year!  Coming together to unite the Christ Church congregations, the Reverend Dr.  Violet L. D. Lee and Pastor Mickey Correa will co-lead this study along with the Reverend Canon Terence Alexander Lee of St. Philip's Episcopal Church of Harlem.  We will study The Book of Joy:  Lasting Happiness in a Changing World.  We hope you will join us as we begin our work of faith and discipleship together in 2022.

Join us as we review the Minor Prophets.  Who are the Minor Prophets?  They are:  Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah,  Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi and all are found in the Old Testament. Below is the order of study:

10/27- Jonah

11/3   - Amos

11/10 - Joel

11/17 - Hosea

11/24 - Micah

12/08- Nahum 

12/15 - Zephaniah

12/22 - Habakkuk

12/29  Bible Study is cancelled

 

This study is a survey of the 12 Minor Prophets of the Bible.  In this study we will explore this social, historical context of each prophet as they speak to the people. We will examine what their prophetic word meant to the people then and what it means to us, the church, now!
